Health Authority sponsors Walk for the Uninsured PDF Print E-mail
The Detroit Wayne County Health Authority will sponsor a rally and walk on behalf of the uninsured and underinsured on Saturday, Aug. 9, in Detroit’s New Center. “Walk for the Uninsured” will feature presentations from elected officials, health care safety net providers, and representatives of the uninsured.

Collaboration introduces discount prescription drug service through 2-1-1 help line PDF Print E-mail

Uninsured and underinsured people in Detroit and Wayne County are now  able to take advantage of the World Medical Relief Prescription Assistance Program as part of a collaboration between World Medical Relief, the Detroit Wayne County Health Authority and United Way of Southeastern Michigan's 2-1-1- help line.
