The Future of the Safety Net Summit culminated in each participant identifying their own role in working toward a better future.  This was symbolized by each of us signing the Mandala image (a high-resolution image of the Mandala is available here).  We hope that is will serve as a reminder of the commitment we made to collaboratively creating a better health care safety net.

Today's high school students represent Michigan's future.  Right now, reforms to our health care system are being discussed across the country.  These reforms will shape the future of health care in our state and in our nation.  That is why the Detroit Wayne County Health Authority believes that as these changes are discussed, it is important that today's young people have an opportunity to have their voices heard!

See the attached flier (pdf) for the full discription and details.
