Web-based HelpEngen Service Enhances Medicaid Enrollment PDF Print E-mail

HelpEngen, offered by the Detroit Wayne County Health Authority, is a web-based service that helps assure that everyone who qualifies for Medicaid, MI Child, and other government-sponsored services become successfully enrolled. It also supports health providers attempting to enroll increasing numbers of uninsured and underinsured patients. HelpEngen is an outgrowth of the Health Authority’s community-based Medicaid outreach program and represents the organization’s commitment to assuring access to quality health care for all.

Obesity Task Force Hosts National Expert on Childhood Obesity 
DETROIT - Adam Becker, PhD, MPH, Executive Director, Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC), will be the presiding speaker for the “Childhood Obesity Planning Summit,” scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 1, 9 a.m. to noon, at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s Detroit Tower, 600 East Lafayette, Detroit.  Free parking will be provided in the Blue Cross parking structure.
